Attack on flat in Fountain estate is 'hate crime'

Police are investigating the report of criminal damage at a flat in the Fountain Estate in Derry on Sunday 13th July.

A window was smashed at the flat sometime between Monday 7th and Sunday 13th July.

Police are treating the incident as being motivated by hate and are appealing for anyone with any information to contact officers in Strand Road on the non emergency number 101.

Information can also be passed anonymously through the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
