English police have appealed for public help in finding a missing mother and son who they believe are in Northern Ireland.

34-year-old Erica Tomlinson and her son Tyree (5) came to Ireland via the Rosslare ferry from Wales on December 30th. They were in a Vauxhall Agila and it is believed they travelled under the names of Kathryn James and Christopher Wilson. Police believe they drive into Northern Ireland.

Erica is 5ft 4in, of a medium build with blond hair and brown eyes. Her son Tyree is a mixed race boy, 3ft 6in, of slim build with short curly hair and brown eyes.

Police are concerned for the welfare of Erica - who may also call herself Michell Baines - who is five months pregnant. They are eager that she, or anyone who has seen the mother and son, contact them.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police in South Gloucestershire (Avon and Somerset Police) on 01275 816350.
