Everton midfielder Darron Gibson will be out of action for at least a month, after suffering a thigh strain.
The Derryman will miss Everton's fixtures against Newcastle, Swansea, Southampton and West Brom during the coming month.
However, all being well Gibson should be back to take on his former team Manchester United on February 10.
The 25-year-old spent more than two months on the sidelines earlier in the season with a similar problem.
Darron Gibson signed for Everton from Manchester United last January, but has also had stints at Royal Antwerp and Wolves.
He is known for his ability to score from long-range strikes, and for his creative passing.
