Free microchipping of dogs over next two weeks

The Dogs Trust, in support of Derry City Council’s Two Month Licensing Amnesty, is providing a two week road show, offering free microchipping of dogs to ALL dog owners at a number of destinations across the city.

In addition, the Dogs Trust is providing through the local veterinary practices free microchipping and neutering of dogs (Eligibility – means tests benefits) until the end of April 2014.

Earlier this week clinics were provided at St Eithnes Primary School, Lisnagelvin Leisure Centre car park, St Josephs Chapel carpark Galliagh and the Sports Pavillion, layby. Drumahoe.

The road show will continue and will be at the following locations over the next two week period -

v  Wednesday 12th March  at Ebrington – 11am – 12.30pm; Gobnascale, Bards Hill – 1pm – 3pm.

v  Thursday,  13th March at the Holy Family Chapel carpark, Ballymagroarty 11am – 12.30pm and - Ebrington – 1pm - 3pm.

v  Friday 14th March at the Gasworks centre Lecky Road. Brandywell 11am -3pm.

v  There will be no clinics on Monday 17 March.

v  Tuesday 18th March,  the roadshow will be at Lisnagelvin Leisure Centre car park - 11am – 12.30pm and the lay by at St Eithnes Primary School, Springtown Road – 1pm – 3pm.

v  Wednesday 19th March at the Sports Pavillion, layby. Drumahoe11am – 12.30pm and the layby at St Josephs Chapel carpark Galliagh –1pm -3pm.

v  Thursday 20th March 2014, Gobnascale, Bards Hill .11am – 12.30pm and Brooke Park Leisure Centre – 1pm -3pm.

v  Friday 21st March 2014, at the Gasworks centre Lecky Road. Brandywell 11am -3pm.
