House values have fallen by more than half in 5 years, says LPS

Prices of residential property sold today are now under half what they were worth in late 2007, having fallen by 56%, according to new figures released today by The Land & Property Services (LPS).

The Residential Property Price Index report for Quarter 4 2012 was released today by LPS, assisted by the Northern Ireland Statistics & Research Agency (NISRA).  

The Index, which measures change in the price of residential property sold in Northern Ireland, also confirmed that residential property prices in Northern Ireland fell by 13% during 2012.
