Lisa Orsi, the young Derry woman critically ill in Indonesia, is due to be airlifted today to a hospital with better facilities in Singapore.
SDLP MLA Pat Ramsey, who is in touch with the Orsi family, confirmed this morning that Lisa, who was judged too ill to be transferred on Sunday and Monday, will now be transferred by air ambulance later today (Tuesday).
Lisa collapsed at the place where she was staying while on holiday in Indonesia, from what is believed to have been a brain haemhorrage.
It is believed that Lisa, who is from the Top of the Hill area of Derry, was found in her bathroom after her injury had occurred.
Her trip to Indonesia had been as a tourist, as Lisa has been living and working in Singapore as a physiotherapist.
Lisas family have travelled out to be with her and arrived in Java on Sunday.
