Man rescued from River Foyle

On Thursday 26th of May 2016 at 13:15hrs the Police Service of Northern Ireland activated FSRs Emergency Response Team to reports of a person having entered the water.

Pager co ordinator dispatched two boats & land crews.

On arrival at the scene a male was located & rescued from the river, administered First Aid & treated for cold water shock.

The male was then transferred to land where members of FSR assisted Paramedics in the transfer to an awaiting Ambulance.
