Teen loses teeth in assault by gang in Galliagh

Police are appealing for information about an assault on a teenager in Galliagh.

The 16-year-old boy lost two front teeth when he was set upon by a gang of three in Fergleen Park.

The assault took place as the boy was walking through the area at around 10.30pm on Friday evening (16/10/15.) 

The three attackers aged 15-17 were wearing track bottoms and hooded tops.
 
Constable Reynolds, the investigating officer, said: “Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with any relevant information to contact them on 101, alternatively contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
