Three Omagh people honoured in New Year’s Honours List

A leading businessman, a school governor, and an animal welfare worker are the three Omagh people honoured in the Queen’s New Year’s Honours List published this evening.

MBE for Mr John Richard HADDEN, Chairman, Techno Tyrone Ltd. for services to Economic Development and Rural Regeneration in Omagh.

MBE for Mr William Ronald Oldcroft, Chair of the Board of Governors, Omagh High School, for services to Education in Northern Ireland.

And the British Empire Medal (BEM) for Mrs Lynda Catherine Hill, Founder, Grovehill Animal Trust, Omagh, for services to animal welfare and to the community.
