Police in Foyle are appealing for witnesses following the theft of a union flag from an Orange hall in Eglinton. At around 11.15pm last night it was reported that the flag had been removed from the roof of the hall on the Coolafinny Road and replaced with a 32 County Sovereignty Movement flag. It's believed three males may have been involved and they may have left the area in a white Seat Leon. Police are treating the theft as a hate crime. Anyone with information should contact officers at Strand Road on 101.
