Police are appealing for information following the report of a burglary at a warehouse in Pennyburn Industrial Estate.
Constable Tumelty said: “The burglary is thought to have taken place at some stage between the afternoon of Saturday 2 May and the morning of Tuesday 5 May.
“Eleven welding plates are among the items stolen. The specialist welding equipment is used to train welders and also used to make pharmaceutical hardware.
“Some power tools, plus an Apple Mac, laptop and iPad were also taken.
“I am appealing to anyone with information, or who noticed any unusual activity in the area, to contact police at Strand Road on 101, quoting reference 355 of 05/05/20. Likewise, if you should be offered such items for sale in suspicious circumstances, please get in touch.”
